I have always been interested in phototography. In 1997 I took a photography class at a local college and from that point on, I've been hooked. I've won numerous awards including:

1997: 2nd place, Black and White (Alabama National Fair)

1998: 1st place, Animals; 1st place, People (Alabama National Fair)

1999: 1st place, Animals; 1st place, People; 1st place, Black and White; BEST IN SHOW (Animals) (Alabama National Fair)

2000: Professional Division: 1st place, Groups; 1st place, Other; Honorable Mention, Other (Alabama National Fair)

2003: Juried Show, Montgomery Art Guild, sponsored by Regions Bank; 1st place, Photography

I have not taken the time to enter photos in competitions since 2003, as I've tried to focus more on taking win photos at specialty shows. I did recently join the local photography club here in Montgomery and am hoping this will help me 'refine' my art.
